Why Natural Dyes:
First of all, nature always does it best. But second, is that natural dyeing is a way of infusing, so to speak, fibers with the wonderful properties of plants. Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies and what we put next to it matters.
How to care for naturally dyed Products:
The dyes used in KdBird products are proven to be color fast, but as with all textiles, naturally dyed material are especially suseptable to UV radiation. Please store your products away from direct sunlight. Naturally dyed garments should be laundered cold with gentle detergents and line dried in the shade or dry in dryer on low/no heat setting. Natural color will fade with time, but think of it as an evolution of the products. Only proven dyes are used, so the fading will be gradual and most likely unnoticeable.
What if I am not happy with my purchase?
All sales are final, but I want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. If for some reason your item is defective, and as long as the item is in new, unused condition, you can send it back for a proper fitting item. Please contact shop within five days of delivery if you are not satisfied with your purchase. KdBird is not responsible for shipping costs for exchanges. Once you contact the shop, you will be provided with instructions for return shipping.
Ready to Ship, Dyed to Order, Custom Dyeing:
All bows are sold Ready to Ship (RTS). If you are interested in custom dyeing, a shop collaboration, or an wholesale order, please email Kate@kdbird.com
We ship packages Monday- Friday and aim to mail packages within 2 days. If your order falls on a Friday or weekend day, it will ship the beginning of the following week. You will have a choice at checkout to ship first class, Priority, or Priority Express. Most ALL packages are trackable within the USPS system.
All packages are packed in Eco-Friendly materials, including compostable plant based "plastic' sleeves, 100% recycled Kraft mailers, and shipping labels made from 100% recycled paper.
kdBird is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stollen mail. You will be provided with tracking information to keep it easy to keep an eye on your package. All foreign duties and excise taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. If packages are denied at customs, and sent back, that is not a proper form of return and will be denied and no refund will be issued.
